Projects
These portfolio projects demonstrate my approach to designing practical learning experiences using industry-standard tools. Click a project below to explore.
ILT/VILT Materials
Designed in PowerPoint and Canva, this simulated ILT/VILT learning experience models a scalable, facilitator-enabled onboarding program for a fictional music lessons franchise. The package guides participants through analyzing program offerings and franchise location tiers to determine best-fit implementation and accelerate early launch decisions. Includes facilitator and learner support assets (slide deck, facilitator guide, learner guide) to standardize delivery and improve learner readiness.

Articulate Rise 360
This simulated Rise lesson is part of a larger onboarding experience for new Lead Teachers at a fictional, growing music education organization. It introduces the FRISK framework, which provides a clear, documented approach to coaching and improving employee performance.

This course is published in HTML5 format for portfolio access. The original build was designed for deployment in an LMS and supports SCORM 1.2/2004 if needed.

Articulate Storyline 360
This simulated Storyline lesson is part of a larger onboarding experience for new music teachers at a fictional organization. The module uses a narrative-driven scenario to introduce the organization’s Practice Coaching Structure—Assess, Structure, Revise—and demonstrates how clear, sustainable practice plans support student progress and improve retention.

This module is published to HTML5 for public portfolio access. The course was developed and tested for SCORM 1.2/2004 deployment in an LMS environment.

Adobe Captivate
(Long Scroll)
This simulated Captivate 13 micro-lesson is part of a larger professional learning series on classroom management. The lesson guides educators through identifying a current classroom friction point, selecting practical strategies to improve classroom climate and routines, and building a simple 7-day action plan with a measurable success indicator. The design emphasizes rapid application, reflection, and coaching-style guidance rather than passive content delivery.

This module is published to HTML5 for public portfolio access. The course was designed to support SCORM 1.2/2004 or xAPI deployment in an LMS environment, where completion tracking and reporting can be enabled as needed.

Camtasia / Audiate
This micro-learning video demonstrates how educators can use generative AI to efficiently design clear, standards-aligned assessment rubrics. Using National Core Music Standard MU:Cr2.1.8b and a BandLab composition assignment as the context, the video walks through drafting, refining, and implementing a 0–4 mastery-based rubric with ChatGPT. The focus is on aligning assessment criteria to learning objectives, maintaining instructional integrity, and using AI as a drafting partner—while preserving professional judgment and instructional intent.

Vyond
This animated micro-lesson introduces pedagogy and andragogy for educators moving from K–12 into higher ed or adult learning contexts. Built as a concise explainer, it highlights three core shifts—motivation, experience, and application—then reframes the transition as a continuum rather than a hard switch. Visual pacing uses minimal, accessibility-friendly text builds timed to narration to support comprehension even when viewed without sound.
